How Long Does Bruised Eye

The mystery of Eilean More

Full Atlantic and over a hundred kilometers from the Hebrides, the islands are called by travelers Flannan the "seven hunters, among them is the island Eilean More, the largest and the northernmost as the location.
to these islands was given the name of St. Flannan, a bishop of the seventeenth century, who also built a chapel here. More on Eilean there was an abundance of pastures and often brought in the shepherds grazing flocks, but strangely, nobody who has spent only one night because it was said that on the inhabited island of the little people, entities elemental fearful.
soon began to ply the trade routes more frequently these sea areas around the nineteenth century, the ships that cut north-south route to Clydebank, often going to crash into the Flannan. This situation led overseeing the northern English in 1895 to plan the construction of a lighthouse on Eilean More, beacon that would landmark for the area mare.Per the start of work had to wait two years and the same persisted for a long time before they are completed. The difficulties were many, the continuous stormy sea, a building that was to be built on a peak at over 60 meters high, made the construction of the lighthouse really hard. Despite the difficulties, the lighthouse was opened in December 1899. Its light would brighten the left cliff. But not everything went as planned, in fact, eleven days before Christmas in 1900 the lighthouse was already off, why? The superintendent sought immediately to verify the incident. Here they were sent three people as guardians of the light of experience, James Ducat, Donald McArtur, Thomas Marshall, possible that all three were mysteriously absent? What had happened?
On 26 December 1900, the dawn was about to be clear and limpid, with a calm sea at last. The ship could sail to lead the Hesperus sig.Joseph Morr mistero.Stranamente to verify the sea near the island is big, and after three attempts, could attraccare.Nessun signal was received on arrival at the ship's records. Morr reach the fence and begins to climb the lighthouse calling aloud the three guards without getting any response.
coupling into the spotlight with two other sailors, he saw with anxiety that all was in order! Nothing was out of place, read in order, cold fireplace ash, wall clock stopped, no nothing, only on a blackboard were written a few notes dated 15/12/1900 at 09.00, the day when the spotlight is turned off! ! The structure was controlled lighting of the lighthouse, but even there everything was in order, wicks soaked and cleaned, ready for ignition.
Mystery thick, the team returned to Lewis with Christmas gifts and without a response. The assumption is followed, but no convincing, since they were discovered the bodies assume what? It was thought that all three were victims of a storm, which swept them away by making them fall into the sea on the pier, the problem is that December 15 was a calm day with flat sea! Also confirmed by the ship's transit Archer, Captain Holman passing near the island, and released this statement, adding that the lighthouse was already off to its passage.
Another hypothesis was the murder, a fit of madness one of the three who killed their classmates and then took his life, but no evidence to substantiate this hypothesis was never found. A tidal wave? Suddenly swept three from the pier? But it became evident that one of the three was definitely in the spotlight, as there were only two of the three waterproof protection, while the third was in place, while seeing friends in difficulty would not have fallen to them with a minimum of protection, in short, a chilling and unsolved mystery. But no one has done more than its the case, but in the end on what to investigate?
My hypothesis will be added to the myriad of other cases over the years that followed ..... perhaps the same force acting in the Bermuda Triangle was the terminus here, maybe more than a strength is something more material ..... of mobile, driven ..... or is it a form of abduction in style to the X-Files, place, outside the world desolate, quiet, undisturbed where they put their beloved gray vacuum other biological material very useful ..... or is it really a supernatural force that has rebelled, incattivita from our devastating and intrusive technological civilization that is permanently deleted from all the lands of the world, that sense of magic that is lost in the mists of time, in distant echoes, and live in the woods populated ethereal and fantastic creatures, now relegated to a fateful humanity as legends, old books on obscure and forgotten in libraries.

Black Below Knee Dresses

The legend of the Christmas

In a remote village in the country, Christmas Eve, a little boy went into the woods in search of an oak log burning in the fireplace, as he wanted to tradition, the holy night.
lingered longer than expected and occurred in the darkness, he could not find my way back home. In addition a heavy snow began to fall.
The boy felt anxiety attack and he thought how, months earlier, had been waiting for this Christmas, that might not have been able to celebrate.
In the woods, now bare of leaves, he saw a tree still green and took shelter from the snow under it: it was a fir tree.
coming up very tired, the baby fell asleep, curled at the foot of the trunk, the tree
lovingly lowered its branches to let them touch the ground so as to form a shelter that would protect from snow and cold the child.
the morning he woke up, heard in the distance the voices of the villagers who had put his research and left his shelter, he could embrace with great joy to his fellow villagers.
Then they noticed all the wonderful spectacle that occurred before their eyes:
snow falling in the night, leaning on leafy branches, which had folded flat to the ground, he had formed of garlands, decorations and crystals, in the light of the sun was rising, seemed bright lights, of incomparable splendor.
In memory of that fact, the tree was adopted as a symbol of Christmas and since then in every home is decorated and illuminated, as if to play the show that the inhabitants of the village saw in that distant day.

Hopefully, in the name, reception, integration of religion and blah, blah, blah, we do not also take away these wonderful dreams!

Leap Castle

The beautiful Leap Castle is in Ireland (weird huh ?!?), and, say, is Similar to many other special castelli.Niente insomma.La its characteristic is that it is haunted .. what nonsense! ... but it is certainly interesting to hear this nonsense, because each of us in the end we believe, even the most skeptical.
An ancient fortress, built between the fourteenth and fifteenth century as a fortress to watch and pass inspection in an area strategically importante.Il place, a little gloomy, in my opinion, was the scene of a storiche.Era vicissitudes O'Carrol fortress of (ancient Irish clan), it has been over the centuries, one of the most impregnable military construction of the whole island. Perhaps because of its history, so violent and bloody, the castle has become a legend, the seat of a terrifying spirit, one of those who are called "elementals. Without a precise physiognomy, described as having horrific human eyes, but accompanied by strange fumes and smoke that make it indistinguishable figure
It is said that the ghost belonged to a priest, a member of the O'Carroll family, killed by a sword struck in the chest by his brother, as he celebrated a mass in what today is called "Cursed Chapel" (the usual medieval feuds). In 1532, in fact, following the death of the clan leader, are locked in a fierce battle to win the throne, he saw the brothers of the family fighting against each other. But beyond the historical saga of the castle, the prison is located in the basement fomenting the terrible ghost stories. Still visible today, the site of the bloodiest prisons were dead prisoners, in fact, we were thrown through an opening in the floor of the upper deck and dropped on a large nail that was about 200 meters below. Who was lucky enough (so to speak) do not fall on the nail was destined to die of hunger among the corpses of their comrades, there are between the lens agonie.Infatti Chronicles (so they can not be questioned) that the inhabitants could hear the moans coming from the terrible segrete.Nel 1900, while some workers were busy cleaning up the prisons (and most certainly this is a fact), many skeletons were found, stacked one above the other and it took three wagons to take them all away. Among the items found, a clock dating to 1800, suggesting that the cells would still be in use in the nineteenth century.

Sarina Snelling Hooters

Recipe

This is a simple recipe for a cake that is typical of 'Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Over time it has undergone several changes, from simple dish has turned into sweet.
Leaving aside the difference between the names and areas of origin, I propose this simple dessert made with flour castagne.La success of this is due to the quality of sweet chestnut flour, I use to peel chestnuts ground without being milled Bagnone (I think!?)
Ingredients: 250 gr flour castagne550 g of water or milk soia75 grams of cane sugar (100 if you want it sweet) a pinch of baking powder pinch of dolciun sale2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or corn
Procedure: Pour the chestnut flour with sugar and add water a little 'time to avoid lumps, then the oil, salt and yeast, you must obtain a liquid batter and let stand for a while', I also at times a night, but also 1 / 2 h is enough.
grease a baking dish is 25 cm wide with a little oil and pour the batter, oil ascend to the surface and you put in the oven for 40/50 minutes at 200 ° to 220 ° depending on the oven, or until it is form a crust on the surface.

Brett Everett Corigan

of chestnut pumpkin pie for Halloween

As we approach the celebration of witches, known to many as Halloween , and considering that I live in a region famous - Emilia Romagna - for the pumpkins I thought I'd celebrate this beautiful vegetable pie making a sweet and bitter at the same time. Because of the sweet and bitter gourd due to the fact that it must be strictly 70%, to make matters worse I thought I'd also add caramelized oranges as a garnish.
Ingredients for a mold of 22 cm:
300 grams of baked pumpkin 350 grams of prepared cake flour mixed between 00 and 100 grams of starch 3 eggs butter 250 g sugar 1 1 packet of yeast vial of almond essence 1 cup whole milk 1 orange sliced \u200b\u200b150 g dark chocolate 70% sugar.
Preparation: Cut the orange slices and arrange on a baking sheet sprinkled with powdered sugar and over-and under-Bake at 200 degrees until soon as it is caramelized. In a bowl mounted on butter with sugar until it become a smooth cream, then add the yolks one at a time and still working, then the flour and the pumpkin with the aroma of almonds. When the mixture is creamy, add the milk, yeast and egg whites. Grease a round baking pan and bake the cake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Once it is cold, melt dark chocolate in the microwave to spread it like frosting on the cake, then garnish with slices of candied orange.
need a clarification, it is important that the pumpkin is cooked in the oven so that it dries, it will leave any other cooking too wet and will ensure that you take out water even in the cake.

Baphomet. The voice of the dead

October 13, 1307 to Friday
The guards of the French King Philip the Fair, arrested for suspected heresy, all known members Order of Knights Templar as they can lay their hands. The time of Pope Clement V, estimates that the full force of the Order amounts to about two thousand people while a few weeks following the arrests the government announced that teachers at the University of Paris more than five hundred Templars had already confessed his guilt . Of course not of their own volition but after violent and cruel torture! the file shows that the Knights Templar actually worship a bearded head known as Baphomet (Baphomet), a reliquary in the shape of the head or maybe a sculpture, described by the monks, interrogated under torture, in many different forms. All, however, could call up and be associated with the Holy Shroud. The worship of a "head" was one of the main charges of the process, but the fact that this head was that of the devil or at least to an idol, is another matter. Baphomet's accusers pointed to be the one-eyed bearded head of anthrax from the etymological point of view seems the most plausible explanation be the corruption of the word Muhammad, because the mosques were called Baphomeris. The idol could be a clear reminder of pay as evidenced by the Baphomet on the door of the church of Saint-Merry in Paris and one of the church of Sainte-Craix in Provins, a lovely bearded devil with horns and wings, with claws and hermaphrodite.

Sorority Initiation Eggs

The voice of the dead may be higher than that of the living. The ghosts may have more meaning of the so-called reality. In eternity, the present and the past and future are only "vocis flatus. Once a child I was afraid that the dead might think, well, closed for the eternity inside their coffins, tombstones behind the grass covered and was decades old, I was terrified that the dead might be able to speak without thinking.

In the week "hot" in August, this year no sea but the mountains. I take advantage of my parents' house in Moena , and consequently of the Dolomites offer excellent opportunities for trekking.
Monday morning wake up at 6, but due to the rain, we go back to bed hoping for some improvement in the afternoon.
Immediately after lunch, taking advantage of the cloudy, my father and I decide to make the crossing of West Monzoni , starting from Piz Meda (2200 m) to the de Sas Undesc (2550 m); if you want you can go up to the de Sas Dodesc (2446 m). It
halls Someda (1276 m), the steep path that leads, almost vertically, until the Val del Vento, the very base of the rocky hill of Piz Meda. From here, a quarter of an hour you can easily reach the top.
