How Dangerous Is Silver Dip For Silver

Lagorai powder - powder on Colbricon

*** Mark's text, photo by Mark Trepanier and Faith ***

trip on the Little Colbricon for the best skiing of my career (so far).
leave the car shortly after the turn to Passo Rolle, and follow the forest road to the base of the slope leading to the summit.
It snowed the other day, and there are at least 30 cm of fresh snow. The climb is not overly long (there are about 800 m in altitude), but the slope that presents itself is fantastic.
The descent is spectacular.
